On Friday 2 December 2016, a transnational exchange between the Landesberufsschule Bregenz and the PURA VIDA school St. Gallen could take place. The background of the visit of the school management of the Landesberufsschule was to collect ideas for the planned construction of a learning room of more than 350m². The gentlemen wanted to get a picture of the PURA VIDA – learning environment and in particular be inspired by the over 180m² large learning workshop inaugurated in September.
The joint exchange between the two school administrations as well as the PURA VIDA teachers was continued over lunch after the inspection of the first floor of Fürstenlandstrasse 41. The exchange of ideas was fruitful, mutual impulses about learning-friendly and inspiring learning environments made the meeting extremely exciting. This made it possible to discuss experiences from everyday school life and possible future developments in the education system. However, everyone agreed on one point: The challenges in education will not become smaller, it will remain exciting. We are pleased to be able to help shape these developments.
We thank the Landesberufsschule Bregenz for their visit and wish them a creative design of their planned learning spaces. May they show a lot of courage to go new ways and thus make a seminal contribution to the “school of the future”.
