„Let’s play Golf“
On Friday, June 16th, 2017 a special treat awaited our students, for once it was “Let’s play Golf”!
The Waldkirch golf course was our destination – in line with our learning concept, we wanted to discover and develop new talents together, while not forgetting to have fun.
The two pros Alain and Sébastien taught us the first golf basics with a lot of enthusiasm and patience. After a short round robin, we all warmed up and were introduced to chipping, putting and teeing up. Afterwards, everyone said, “Have a nice game!”
After a short break, the driving range was on the agenda. This showed who might have the potential for a successful golf career – from a regular “air shot” to a tee shot of over 200 meters, everything was on display. Of course, the latter succeeded only the two pros Alain and Sébastien …
No matter how far the tee shots got, everyone was pleased to see that from tee shot to tee shot, the confidence and feel for the right shot grew.
In the final putting competition on the green, the most successful players were those who put the ball into the hole with a steady hand and a good eye. Not entirely surprisingly, these were the ones who were not among the most successful on the driving range.
“Let’s play Golf” was a lot of fun for everyone!
