The garden of the PURA VIDA School is more than just a piece of green space — it is a lively place to learn and meet. Not only do vegetables grow here, but also curiosity, responsibility and community.
Experience and understand nature:
Nature becomes tangible in the school garden. The children sow, water, harvest and watch how small seeds become strong plants. They experience the seasons, learn about ecological relationships and discover how valuable and lively our environment is.
Take responsibility:
Everyone contributes to the flourishing of the garden. Caring for the flower beds together promotes mindfulness, patience and a sense of responsibility — values that are important far beyond the garden fence. The children learn immediately that their care is bearing fruit — in the truest sense of the word.
A place of peace and encounter:
Between flower beds and flowers, there is space for conversation, wonder and pause. The garden offers a natural balance to everyday school life and invites you to ground yourself — in contact with the soil, with plants and with each other.
From garden to table:
What grows in the garden often finds its way into the kitchen and onto the lunch table. This completes the circle between learning, nature and enjoyment. The children experience how good food is made — from seed to plate.
