Experiencing nature and technology up close was on the school curriculum in September. As part of their nature and technology lessons, the students in grades 7 and 8 visited the ‘Chocolarium’, the interactive world of experience at the Maestrani chocolate factory. There, they were able to learn about the entire chocolate production process in an exciting way – from the cocoa bean to the fully finished chocolate bar. The tour offered fascinating insights into the connection between nature, technology and food production.
The interactive stations where the young people could get creative and design their own chocolate creations were particularly exciting. Of course, there was also a chance to taste the delicious chocolate. The students returned from this educational excursion full of sweet impressions and new insights.
