The PURA VIDA Cycle 1 (Kindergarten up to 2nd grade) spent their week exploring various construction materials and concepts. tarting with known building materials, such as Legos and wooden blocks and moving on to life size construction, using connecting bricks and boxes, the students had the opportunity to apply and experiment with known concepts when working with larger materials and life-sized structures.
ids learned about planning and the steps necessary to transfer an idea or drawing into a 3-dimensional structure. The students were incredibly engaged and imaginative during the week and built some really amazing structures.
