To better understand the theory of natural sciences and to discover examples in nature, experiments are useful. On Tuesday afternoons, a group of students in each of the 3rd-6th grades gets to try their hand at various experiments. These range from separating liquids to building a bee house to a self-created solar oven. In the 7th grade subject “Nature & Technology”, experiments on acids and bases, solubility and separation processes are also carried out to support the theory. Benjamin Brunner, our neighbor and practical expert in the production of distillates, also provided a better understanding of the separation processes. Thanks to his own gin distillery, he is an absolute professional in this field – he was able to introduce the students of the 7th grade to various separation processes in a very lively manner.
