On November 12, 2019, the Bunte-Küche Group of the PURA VIDA afternoon visited Häberli Fruchtpflanzen AG in Neukirch (Egnach). A bright sunny afternoon accompanied us as we all toured through the beautiful premises of this organization. First, hanging figs attracted our attention, then we felt the ornamental apples were almost edible! We saw various types of bushes and berries, but especially the many strawberry varieties delighted us with their full colours and sweet scents.
In the garden, we saw, not only familiar, but also new plants: we tasted a lot of raspberries and other novelties; the variety was astonishing!
In the end, we could taste Indian bananas, kaki, raisin tree and Szechuan pepper; this tasting experience will, for a long time, remain in our memories!
