PURA VIDA camp adventure – April 2025

During this year’s adventure days, a group of 30 pupils from Year 2 to Year 9, their 5 teachers and a chef embarked on a school camp adventure. We started our journey with a missing pair of hikingboots, a huge music box as hiking luggage and plenty of snack and dessert donations.

A steep hike took us up to Villa Kunterbunt on the Schwanderberg near Glarus. We were rewardedwith a wonderful view and the best pasta in the world. The next few days were filled with onehighlight after another: Birthday celebrations, action and wellness, casino games, ‘Robbers and Police’, an adaptation of ‘Settlers of Catan’ as a terrain game and cooking over a fire. Some of us caught thefever of making bracelets and we also played ‘Capture The Flagmore than once. Throughout theweek we were spoilt by the beautiful weather and enjoyed the spring atmosphere. On the last evening, the students organised their own camp disco with games and dancing.

The week flew by. We can look back on harmonious days in which the kids took on responsibility, lived as a community and demonstrated team spirit. It was a great pleasure for us!
