On this year’s project day, the 3rd – 6th school year, together with the teachers, set out to walk the St. Gallen Bridge Trail. The St. Gallen Bridge Trail is an approximately 9 km long hiking trail that starts at the St. Gallen-Haggen railway station and leads to Spisegg. The path runs past 18 viaducts, wooden and concrete bridges and hanging footbridges through the river landscape of the Sitter and Wattbach nature reserve.
At noon, a fire was lit on the way, so that there was the possibility to “grill” a sausage, play games together and relax – and the brave ones even dared to cool down in the river Sitter. :-)
